Most waiting-time tables rank centres by queue length alone. That hides the trade-off: the quickest centre in the July 2026 release is Shannon at 7 weeks, but its published pass rate is 55.4%. Among the five shortest queues, Monaghan has the highest pass rate at 69.5% and waits 4.1 weeks less than the national average.

- Centre-level waits are estimates for the published period, not live appointment slots. Pass rates are not adjusted for the mix of candidates at each centre. Scores rank centres within one release and are not comparable between releases.
