A lesson handout learners will actually use

Download a clean three-page pack for readiness checks, mock-drive notes and the next lesson plan. Print it, add your own teaching notes and give the learner a copy.

Inside the pack

A short feedback loop from drive to action

1

Readiness snapshot

A one-page check covering observation, positioning, progress, controls, manoeuvres and independent decisions.

2

Mock-drive notes

Structured space for three realistic driving segments and the repeated pattern seen in each one.

3

Next-actions plan

Turn a long lesson debrief into three priorities, one practice method and a learner-owned route log.

How to use it in a lesson

  1. Before the drive: let the learner self-rate each skill so expectations are visible.
  2. During the drive: record repeated, observable patterns across three road situations.
  3. After the drive: agree no more than three actions and how each will be practised.
  4. Next lesson: reopen the sheet and check whether the pattern changed.

Important: this is not an RSA marking sheet

The pack is an independent coaching worksheet. It does not reproduce the official test report, predict a result or replace professional ADI judgement. For official grading terminology, use the RSA marking guidelines.
